The flash drive linux project's intent is to create a truly portable operating system.
One that can be installed on a flash drive and carried in your pocket.
The products listed here have been personally tested and are completely functional.
More Linux live distributions will be added as the configurations and installations can be created.

REQUIREMENTS:
Windows 2000/XP/Vista for installer.

1 Gigibyte flash drive for standard live editions,
CDROM drive.
2 Gigabyte flash drive for live editions with persistent home directory.
DVD drive.

X86 based PC (personal computer with an x86 type processor[AMD/Intel]).

Your computer must support booting from a USB hard drive (USB-HDD).

Requirments vary for most Linux distributions.
The requirements are usually minimal.
If you have a PC that was built in the last few years,
It should not have any problems running linux.
